Bijish is a Senior Partner at the firm. He graduated in law from the School of Legal
Studies, Cochin University of Science & Technology in 2000 and enrolled with the
Bar Council of Kerala in 2001. He began his legal career as a junior to Adv. Philip M.
Varghese, gaining early exposure to writ proceedings and civil matters. He later
moved into Admiralty and Maritime Law with M/s V. J. Mathew & Co., establishing a
strong foundation in the sector.
In 2015, he joined Callidus Legal as an Senior Partner. His practice spans admiralty
and maritime law, civil law, corporate law, consumer law, and the drafting and vetting
of agreements. He regularly advises clients on a wide range of maritime and
commercial issues. Bijish appears frequently before the High Court of Kerala and
various courts in Cochin/Ernakulam, with extensive experience in both trial and
appellate litigation. He is also a Life Member of the Kerala High Court Advocates’
Association.
