Karun Mahesh is an Admiralty and Commercial Shipping Lawyer with focused
expertise in maritime disputes, international shipping regulations, logistics
operations, and commercial law. He is currently a Legal Associate at Callidus Legal.
He graduated with an LLB from Government Law College, Thrissur (2021), followed
by an LLM in International Maritime Law from Cochin University of Science and
Technology (2022). Enrolled with the Bar Council of Kerala, he regularly appears
before the High Court of Kerala, district courts, and various judicial forums across the
state.
Karun’s exposure to Admiralty, Maritime, and Commercial Shipping Law began
during his postgraduate training, which laid the foundation for his specialized
practice. He joined Callidus Legal in 2024, and his areas of work include Admiralty &
Maritime Law, Shipping and Logistics Disputes, Civil and Criminal matters, Marine
Insurance, Contract drafting and vetting, legal research, and representation before
courts and tribunals.
